2026 is focused on the Teaching and Judging roles in the community.
These workshops are open to dancers of ALL levels.
Tracks
Everyone is welcome to take either of the tracks. You can also jump to different classes per session if you'd like. Those who complete all 6 sessions in a single track are eligible for specific track completion opportunities.
Judge Track
If you've ever wanted to learn how to judge, or just know what the judges are thinking, this is a great opportunity. Great for curious competitors or soon-to-be professionals. All levels welcome, no prior teaching experience required.
Teacher Track
Whether you are a newer dancer or a seasoned instructor, there is always something to learn about teaching others. Join our experienced instructors for in-depth classes on classroom management, structure, and private lesson guidance.

Track Completion Opportunities
If you complete all 6 sessions in a single track, you will have earned one of the following opportunities:
Judge Track

1 hour full debrief of event scores from judge of your choice*

Mock judge from the floor at SSDC for one competition
Teacher Track
-
1-1 Teacher mentorship to build a lesson plan

Sit in on the lesson planning process from a teacher of your choice*
